Sustainability Business apprenticeships on offer at Teesside University

Teesside University is actively seeking organisations to enrol apprentices onto its Sustainability Business Specialist Level 7 Apprenticeship this May.

Organisations with a pay bill of more than £3m will automatically pay 0.5% of their total amount into their levy pots, which can be used to fund this training.

Those with a pay bill of less than £3m are able to access the co-investment route, meaning the government will cover 95% of the course fees and the remaining 5% will be covered by the organisation.

The UK’s net zero economy is surging, growing three times faster than the national average and creating high-wage jobs while boosting energy security, according to a new Confederation of British Industry analysis.

This demonstrates the sector’s significant economic contribution and future potential.

Eco Fair is on Saturday 7th June 11am – 3pm

The event takes place in the market square and last year attracted over 5000 visitors to the free to attend Eco Fair. Alongside information stands we have a range of performance, activity and learning opportunities for all ages and this format gives all ages to engage and enjoy.

For the Eco Fair we have a variety of activities to fund, it would be fantastic if your business would like to get involved.

This event explores how you can impact the future of the world we live, work and play in. Expect science, nature and craft activities, specialists with information stands and plenty of stalls selling environmentally friendly products.
